These primitive, rustic little jewels came from rural Chinese farmhouses. They were used around tables, or for schoolhouses, or just sitting in front of the home for respite on a hot summer day. We love their look in the foyer or at the end of the bed. They can serve as a little seat while putting on shoes, or storing backpacks for the next day's lesson. 

No two are alike, but all are just as lovely as the last.
